Abstract

The invention proposes a generic approach for detecting partial blindness of one or multiple sensors, independently of their specific technology or properties. By relying on the output of sensor fusion rather than sensor-specific signals, the solution requires minimal tuning, reducing costs of development and testing. The approach can be applied to a variety of sensor technologies without the need for extensive and detailed tuning campaigns.
