Specialist Software Developer · BMW AG, Munich

I am a Specialist Software Developer at BMW AG in Munich, Germany, where I design, develop, and test software for automated driving at SAE level 3 and above, with a special focus on safety. Earlier I spent five years at GE Global Research in Munich — first as a Research Engineer and then as Lead Research Engineer — working on control and sensor-fusion algorithms across oil & gas, avionics, and power transmission, and leading technical teams and research-funding efforts.

I hold a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University (2012), where my dissertation focused on model predictive control for data center energy management.
