Hybrid model of freight train air brake system

Abstract

This paper proposes a simplified hybrid model of a freight train equipped with an air brake. The control of such a system and the enforcement of numerous safety constraints constitute a relevant benchmark for the verification of cyber-physical systems. The model is made publicly available to facilitate reproducibility and comparisons across verification tools.
