A unified modelling approach that couples thermal and computational dynamics of data centers, enabling coordinated optimisation of cooling and server workloads for improved energy efficiency.
Abstract
This paper presents a unified thermal-computational approach to data center energy management. The model couples the thermal and computational dynamics of data center infrastructure, providing a foundation for coordinated optimization of cooling systems and server workloads. The unified approach enables more accurate energy management than methods that treat thermal and computational subsystems independently.
