A real-time optimisation approach for dynamic power allocation across server farms, balancing computational performance against energy consumption under time-varying workloads and power caps.
Abstract
This paper proposes a real-time optimization approach for dynamic power allocation in server farms. The method balances computational performance against energy consumption under time-varying workloads and power constraints. The approach is formulated as an online optimization problem that can be solved efficiently at runtime, enabling adaptive power management in response to changing conditions.
